Fusionale: Bauhaus meets Qashani!
‘Fusionale’ is one of my works that simultaneously presents the Iranian art ‘Qashani’ (art of tiles) from Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque in Isfahan, Iran combined with a 70s-style pattern inspired from a motive by Anni Albers from 1974. The unique pattern (as a whole) also tries representing an infusion resembling both Iranian and Bauhaus architecture at the same time, making a new concept linking the East and the West.
